How it works

Plan in, price out

  1. 1

    Upload your floor plan

The builder's floor plan of the whole house, with every room and its sizes — not a bathroom or kitchen detail sheet. The PDF your builder sent is best; a PNG or JPG scan, or a photo taken straight on, works too. We read every room off it. No plan? We book a visit and measure with you.

  2. 2

    See your estimate straight away

Pick a profile, tick the rooms getting skirting, and the lineal metres and price range update as you go.

  3. 3

    Lock it in

Send us the list with your name and mobile. We measure from the plan and text you a fixed price — no visit needed for most new homes.

Questions about skirting

0493 652 604 →

Is this for any house?

It's for new homes — fresh walls and floors, with no old skirting to take off. We don't remove or replace skirting in existing homes as part of this service.

Which rooms get skirting, and which don't?

Bedrooms, hallways and passages, living and dining, study and home theatre get skirting. Bathrooms, ensuites, WCs and laundries don't (tile skirting there is your tiler's job), and neither do the kitchen — the cabinets sit on the walls — the alfresco or the porch. There's no skirting across a doorway or in front of a built-in wardrobe, so we take those openings off the metres. A linen or store cupboard with a door takes none either; an open one does. Those rooms start unticked on your list; tick any back on if your home is different.

Do you paint the skirting?

No. The boards are primed MDF. We fill the nail holes and caulk the top edge, so they're ready for your painter.

How does install only work?

You buy the boards and we fit them. They need to be primed MDF, on site before we arrive, and enough for the whole job with some spare for cuts.

Is the estimate my final price?

No — it's a guide based on your room list. We confirm the measurements first, then send your final price before any work is booked.

How does the price match work?

Show us a written quote for the same profile, the same lineal metres and the same supply mode, and we match it.

What is the free shower-screen coating?

A hydrophobic coating on one shower screen, applied on the day we fit the skirting. Water beads up and runs off, so the glass stays clear of Perth's hard-water marks for longer.

Is there a minimum charge?

Yes, there's a minimum charge per visit. The estimate already allows for it.

I don't have the floor plan — can I still get a quote?

Yes. Send the request without a plan and we book a visit: we measure every room with you there, and text you the fixed price. Doorways and built-in wardrobe openings take no skirting, so they come off the metres either way.

What happens to my floor plan?

We use it for one thing: to measure the rooms and work out how many boards the job needs, so we can give you a fixed price. We only keep the plan if you go ahead with the quote, and then only until the job is finished — after that it's permanently deleted. If you don't go ahead, it's deleted within 30 days of your request; a plan uploaded just for an instant estimate that never becomes a request is deleted within 90 days. What stays on your job record is the list of rooms with their measurements — nothing else from the drawing. We never pass your plan on.
